The Sensible Sailing Classic Kicker is made with the Harken metal base, Allen XHL top block and Harken 16mm double air block. The kicker is fully spliced to the perfect length for the ILCA 6 and 7. Primary line available in black or white, either plain or with colour coded calibration. Secondary line available in 3 different colours. Full purchase (15:1) or Reduced purchase (12:1) options available. Sensible Sailing recommends using 12:1 to reduce excess rope in the cockpit.
ILCA Classic Kicker
The Kicker is built around around the Harken metal base, Allen XHL top block and Harken 16mm double air block using Marlow rope. The kicker has a rubber handle.
Harken Metal Base
This is the original Harken kicker base. It is reliable and time-proven.
Allen XHL top block
Designed with a custom body which incorporates the Laser/ ILCA vang key to give maximum strength in the smallest package possible. This design eliminates the need for shackles or rope to attach the Vang key. Available in Pink, Blue, and Black.
Harken 16mm double air block
The 16 mm is Harken’s smallest block. It is perfect for small synthetic control lines found on high-tech dinghies. The patented bearing system uses stainless steel balls in a captive grooved race.
Primary Line - Marlow - D12
The primary line is made with bio-based Dyneema fibre, which offers high strength and low elongation.
Secondry Line - Marlow - Excel Racing GP78
Technora blended cover gives fantastic abrasion and heat resistant properties. The core is made with bio-based Dyneema fibre.
